On 4th February 2024, BIITM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bajaj Finserv to establish a collaborative partnership aimed at enhancing student employability through industry-aligned initiatives, training, and placement opportunities.

Biju Patnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management Studies (BIITM), Bhubaneswar signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Utkal Chapter on 11.03.2024.

The MOU is aimed at strengthening the Industry–Academia Interface by promoting knowledge sharing, professional development, and student engagement.

On 21st June 2024, BIITM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre for Environment and Development (CED) to establish a two-year collaboration. The partnership focuses on Research & Development, consultancy, outreach, internships, and placements in the areas of environment and sustainable development.

An MoU was signed between BIITM and Y4D Foundation on 2nd July 2024 to establish a collaborative partnership for the development and delivery of a structured Sales & Marketing Training Program. The program aims to empower students through offline and classroom sessions combined with practical training, enhancing their industry-relevant skills.

On 29th July 2024, BIITM and the Greenovation Club, a flagship initiative by SwitchOn, signed an MoU in the Principal’s Chamber to formalize their partnership in promoting sustainable solutions. This collaboration aims to encourage innovation, environmental awareness, and community-driven green initiatives.

On 5th October 2024, BIITM, in collaboration with NIPM, organized an impactful HR Conclave focused on "Driving HR Transformation in a Digital World." The event brought together HR professionals, academicians, and students to explore emerging trends and strategies shaping the future of human resources in the digital era.

On March 24, 2025, BIITM signed an MoU with the Sattvic Soul Foundation (SSF) to promote sustainability and environmental consciousness. The agreement was signed by Dr. Mihir Ranjan Nayak, Principal of BIITM, and Mr. Satyabrata Samal, Founder of SSF. As part of the initiative, the Eco-Changers Club was inaugurated to engage students in climate action, offering opportunities for internships, field projects, and sustainability initiatives, nurturing future environmental leaders.

BIITM has signed an MOU with IIPM School of Management,Kansbahal during March 2023 ostensibly to foster the following collaborative activities:

• Exchange of academic and administrative staff
• Exchange of students
• Conducting collaborative research projects
• Conducting lectures and organizing symposia
• Exchange of academic information and materials
• Exchange of academic information and materials
• Conducting webinars for the students by the expert faculty of the respective institutions

An MOU was signed with Veterans India Organization in March 2023 (an association of retired Army veterans)

The focus of this MOU would be on the following:

• Provide inputs to management students on discipline and commitment
• Insights into Selfless Service (the ideal form of service to the society)
• Provide students a sense of direction in their lives and corporate careers

An MOU was signed with AlumNetworks Pvt Ltd during April 2023 after comprehensive discussion with Mr. Chandra Shekhar Chitrala the founder & CEO of the Startup company.

The MOU shall focus on the following salient points.

• Mr. Shekhar shall interact with students and faculty of BIITM to foster an ambience of entreprenurship and create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem among the MBA students.
• Mr.Shekhar was the Chief Resource person in a Workshop Conducted by BPUT for management students of BPUT affiliated colleges in Odisha on the theme: Employability to Entrepreneurship: A Techno Approach for future managers.
• Furthermore he took a session for Integrated MBA students and shared his entrepreneurial journey as a management student (XIMB Class of '90) and an entrepreneur for the past 25 years.
• The MOU will also ensure that students of BIITM can also gain insight by doing their internship with the company.

BIITM has signed an MOU with College of IT and Management Education (CIME), Bhubaneswar during June 2023 ostensibly to foster the following collaborative activities:

• Exchange of academic and administrative staff
• Exchange of students
• Conducting collaborative research projects
• Conducting lectures and organizing symposia
• Exchange of academic information and materials
• Conducting webinars for the students by the expert faculty of the respective institutions.

Dr. Varun Agarwal, Faculty of BIITM took a session during June 2023 on emerging investment avenues in India today where he shed light on various instruments being developed by in the financial sector of India.
Many more faculty and student exchanges are planned between the two institutions

BIITM has signed an MOU with Birla Global University (BGU), Bhubaneswar during June 2023 ostensibly to foster the following collaborative activities:

• Conducting collaborative research projects
• Conducting lectures and organizing symposia
• Exchange of academic information and materials
• Conducting webinars for the students by the expert faculty of the respective institutions.
• Exchange of academic and administrative staff
• Exchange of students

Both institutions are positively looking forward to deeper and more nuanced collaborations in the areas of strengths of each other.
