Dr. Debabrata Sharma, Assistant Professor (Finance) www.biitm.ac.in

Dr. Debabrata Sharma completed his Ph.D. in Commerce from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack.
He holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree from Ravenshaw University, Odisha. With over five years of teaching experience, he has been associated with esteemed institutions such as Rajdhani College, Bhubaneswar, JKBK Government College, Cuttack, and IMIT, Cuttack. His expertise lies in areas like Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Business Taxation.
He has research publications in renowned journals listed in ABDC, Scopus, and UGC CARE, alongside authoring a textbook and a reference book. Moreover, he has showcased his research prowess by presenting papers at numerous International and National conferences held across India.
His research interests include Corporate Governance, Firm Performance, and Financial Reporting.
He holds life membership in three esteemed associations, namely, Orissa Commerce Association, Indian Commerce Association, and Indian Accounting Association.
