Prof (Dr.) Bijoy Kumar Bal
Prof (Dr.) Bijoy Kumar Bal, Professor (Communication English)
- He has an M.A in English from Ravenshaw University and a Ph. D from CIEFL, Hyderabad. He has done an advanced course in Development and Management of English language Education at Lancaster University, in the U.K
- He has more than 43 years of academic experience in teaching and research both in India and abroad.
- He is the author of a few books on "English Grammar and Writing". His current research interest lies in the application of Chomsky’s theory of language to the field of communication.
- At present, he is also an advisor to the Orissa Secondary Board of Education on English. He is also on the Board of Studies of C.V. Raman Global University.
- After his retirement as Principal from Ravenshaw College (presently Ravenshaw University), he joined as Professor Communicative English at BIITM in 2008.
