GYANAPRAVA (BIITM Literary Club)
The BIITM Literary Club, GYANAPRAVA, encourages the creative and critical writing skills of the students, and develops analytical and creative thinking skills in them. It offers opportunities to the students to get exposed to various literary forms and to increase their own literary skills. It is a club meant for BIITM students who love literature and want to share their experiences, readings and thoughts with others.
Objectives of the GYANAPRAVA:
- To inculcate among students a flair for the language and enhance their literary skills.
- To induce the reading habit in students.
- To encourage students to become orators and display their confidence in articulating, independent thinking skills.
- To provide a platform for debating events.
- To improve and encourage creative writing.
Vision of the GYANPRAVA:
The vision of the literary club is to transform the students into independent and visible learners, innovative and critical thinkers, who are socially and emotionally balanced, and who disseminate moral values among the people.
Mission of the GYANPRAVA:
The mission of the Literary Club is:
- To provide a stable and supportive environment where students lead, learn and grow academically and socially.
- To engage the students in various literary activities to gain confidence and develop a taste for art.
- To inculcate in the students inquisitiveness, creativity and open mindedness.
- To acquire effective communication and leadership skills.
- To encourage the students to think and explore creative ideas and display their higher cognitive skills.
