Prof.(Dr.) ASHOK KUMAR RATH, Prof (Finance)-cum-Dean
  • Mcom , MPhil, MBA (Finance), LLB, PhD.

  • Dr Rath has 28 years of teaching experience in Commerce and Management education.
  • He has worked in many Management institutes and Autonomous colleges.
  • Besides teaching he has long experience in Academic Administration. He worked as Head of Department of (Finance, Controller of Examinations, and Dean(MBA) in Regional College of Management (Autonomous),BBSR.
  • He has successfully guided 2 PhD Scholars in Commerce under Utkal University.
  • He is a registered Supervisor of BPUT to guide PhD Scholars in Management field.
  • He is a member of Doctoral Research Degree Committee (DRDC) BPUT, Rourkela.He is also a member of research Committee of GITA Autonomous College, BBSR.
  • He has published many research articles in National and International journals.
  • He has attended and presented many research articles in National and international Commerce and Management seminars.
  • He is a life member of many professional bodies like All India Commerce Association, All Odisha Commerce Association and All Odisha Bar Association(Lawyers’ Forum).
  • He has also authored(jointly) a book on Financial Reporting for Management students.
