Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Mohanty, has a total of more than 37 years’ experience, 22 years working in the Government sector and 15 years in teaching and academic administration. Before joining BIITM as Professor- HR, He has worked in Orissa Engineering College (CMS-OEC) as Associate Professor-HR

Dr Mohanty has served ASBM University, Bhubaneswar as Professor and Dean, School of Business. Working in the Government sector, Dr. Mohanty was associated with preparation of decentralized plans, manpower plan, monitoring and evaluation of Plan schemes/projects, preparation of National Rural Health Mission Action Plan for Odisha, Total Literacy Campaign in Ganjam district, preparation of tribal sub-plan for dispersed tribal.

Prof. Mohanty has also worked as consultant to CENDERET, sister concern of XIMB on a networking project Social Mobilization Mapping sponsored by UNICEF, Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) pertaining to Community Forest Resource Rights (CFR) under FRA 2006.

Dr. Mohanty has published several research papers and presented papers in National and International seminars.
